Phone Verification via email link

We have developed a new verification scheme that doesn't require ProveOut.com's script implementation at your end. This new feature allows you to email a request to verify your customer to ProveOut.com. ProveOut.com adds a unique verification link to this request and emails this to the customer. He or she accesses a special ProveOut.com webpage using a link in the email, enters his/her name and phone number and passes phone verification as usual.

Two-way phone verification

We have added Call type #5. This new feature allows your customers to dial ProveOut.com at any convenient time using a certain phone number and pass phone verification as usual. Upon establishing a connection, your customer listens to the voice menu and enters verification data by pressing buttons on their phone keypad. This new feature may be used in many areas for the verification of any data e.g. confirmation or access code, order number, registration approval and so on. Please find details in the FAQ area (question #10).

Now when you register at ProveOut.com we will deposit $10 into your account. This money can be spent on for testing our phone verification service. After $10 is spent we suspend your account until you deposit some money into it.

Learn about the verification results by phone

We have extended our service. The new feature enables your customers to learn the results of verification by phone by playing the corresponding recorded message within the Verification Call. The system plays the appropriate message e.g. "You are verified successfully" or "Verification failed" right after the customer enters their PIN code. In case the PIN codes don't match, the system gives a second opportunity for the customer to enter a valid PIN code and so on. The number of attempts that the customer gets before verification fails can be set via the API.

New feature added – phone type identification

Recently we added a new feature to our phone verification service. It is phone type identification. So now in addition to country and city identification you can determine what kind of phone number is used by your customer (e.g. mobile phone, VoIP phone such as Skype and so on). The feature is available for all countries in the world.

We have connected up new VoIP gateways

Using VoIP gates rotation (when a call is automatically switched to another gateway in case it cannot pass the first one) guarantees high availability of our system. Recently we have connected up a couple of new VoIP service providers. It is an important step in increasing ProveOut's reliability. We never stop of improving our system. As you are satisfied with the quality of our service we believe we are on the right track.
